Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park is a reserved wildlife area spread across the districts of Idukki, Kottayam, and Pathanamthitta, in the state of Kerala. Spread across an area of 925 sq. km, the Wildlife Sanctuary is also home to the Periyar Tiger Reserve at Thekkady, one of the 27 tiger reserves in India. The Periyar wildlife Sanctuary is home to great bio diversity and appreciated for its scenic beauty. The national park houses a great variety of flora comprising tropical evergreen & moist deciduous forests, grasslands, eucalyptus, flowerings plants & much more. Ranthambore National Park located in the Sawai Madhopur district is one of the largest national parks in North India, sprawled across an area of 392 sq. km. Initially established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955, Ranthambore played a pivotal role as a project tiger reserve and finally gained the status of a national park in 1980. Considered one of the best wildlife centers with a great population of tigers, the Ranthambore national park is one of the best places for tiger sightseeing. The other wildlife animals at the national park comprise leopard, wild boar, nilgai, sloth bear, sambar, hyena, rhesus macaque, southern plains gray langur, and chital. The park is also home to a variety of birds and reptiles, and features one of the largest banyan trees, deciduous forests, and other plants.

The Kanha National park houses a significant population of tigers, leopards, wild dogs, foxes, jackals, swamp deer, Indian gaur, sambhar, spotted deer, black buck, and many more. Some of the other species at the national park includes Nilgai, Hyena, sloth bear, vipers, honey badger, jungle cat, barasingha, etc. The national park has played a vital role in tiger conservation and is hence a noted tiger reserve of the country.

The national park is also a recognized bird area and features a vast expanse of marshland, tall elephant grass, and tropical forests. Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Welcome to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. You will be transferred to hotel for luxurious stay. You will explore main attractions of the city after taking a rest. These attractions are Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Qutub-Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and many more. You are free for evening time to enjoy on your own.

Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur (262km – 5hr)
You will also explore other attractions of Delhi and then drive to Jaipur – the capital city of Rajasthan and called as Pink City of India. Chokhi Dhani is optional in your tour after reaching Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur

Day 05: Ranthambore

Day 07: Bharatpur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (55 km – 2 hr)
